We are familier with Padma Shambhava's VAJRA GURU MANTRA this is a short version Mantra
"Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padame Siddhi Hum",
mantra for Peace, Healing, Transformation and Protection. There is also Another Mantra "The vajra seven-line Prayer" to Padma shambhava. Who is Padma sambhava?
Padmasambhava is the patron saint of Tibet. Padma Shambhava (also known as Guru Rinpoche) was an Indian siddha who was invited to Tibet by King Trisong Detsen, to propagate the doctrine of Buddha. Because Padmasambhava’s teachings contain many hidden treasures intended for generations to come, he has become known as the most important Tibetan master.

Meaning of Seven Line Prayer*
To Know the meaning of the Short Mantra "Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padame Siddhi Hum" visit this post VAJRA GURU MANTRA. Another Famous mantra of Padama Shambhava is The Vajra seven-Line prayer. Seven-Line Prayer is the most sacred and important prayer in the Nyingmapa tradition. This short prayer contains the outer, inner, and innermost teachings of the esoteric trainings of Buddhism. By practicing The Vajra Seven-Line Prayer according to any one of these trainings, the result of that particular training will be attained.


In Tibet, the Nyingmapa tradition recite the Seven-Line Prayer to Guru Rinpoche three times before reciting any other prayers, doing any meditation, or performing any ceremony. Many devotees repeat it hundreds of thousands of times, reciting it during all their waking hours, making it as their main prayer, breathing, life, and contemplation.
